Terms of Use

By accessing or using riru (the “Service”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

riru provides a Chrome side panel extension and accompanying web application that helps you automate tasks in your browser. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at hello@riru.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use riru.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Access, scrape, or interfere with services without authorization.
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or harassing.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law.
• Use the Service to generate spam, abuse, or fraudulent activity.
• Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the Service.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to riru. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit, including content the Service acts on at your direction on third-party websites.

riru relies on third-party services (including authentication, hosting, and AI model providers) and may interact with third-party websites at your direction. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

riru, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted by implication.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, riru and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold riru harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
